Articles of Faith
1. We believe in the one and only true and living God, and that there is a trinity of persons in the Godhead: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit and these three are One. (1 John 5:7)
2. We believe that the Old and New Testament Scriptures are the perfect inspired Word of God, our only
rule of faith and practice, and that they are sufficient to teach all that we ought to know, believe, or practice. (2 Timothy 3:16)
3. We believe in the doctrine of Total Depravity which states that all men are born sinners in the sight of God, having inherited a sinful nature, and that man is completely incapable of recovering himself from this fallen state, being dead in trespasses and in sins. (Romans 3:10-12, 23)
4. We believe in the doctrine of Unconditional Election, which states that before the foundation of the world, God chose a definite number of the human race, and has predestinated them to be conformed to the image of His Son, and to redeem them from their fallen condition. (Ephesians 1:4)
5. We believe in the doctrine of Limited Atonement (Particular Redemption) which states that the atonement and the redemption of Jesus Christ are for the elect only, and that they are justified by the imputed righteousness of Christ alone. (John 10:15)
6. We believe in the doctrine of Irresistible Grace, which states that all the elect that have been redeemed by the Son shall be drawn to God with an everlasting salvation. All the elect shall be regenerated, converted, and sanctified by the Holy Spirit. (John 6:37-45)
7. We believe that the elect saints of God will persevere in grace being upheld by the power of God through the Spirit, and that not one shall be finally lost, but are all preserved in Christ to an incorruptible inheritance. (Phillipians 1:6)
