“The vision and purpose of our hearts is to build a Christ-centered church that has a love

and passion for truth, for souls, and for the Glory of God.”

There are five foundational truths that we believe a true church of God should have as non-negotiable pillars fastened on the cornerstone of Jesus Christ:

• the absolute authority and inerrancy of the Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16)

• a high view of the godhead as a trinity that includes God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit (1 John 5:7)

• sound doctrine that holds to the sovereignty of God and salvation by grace alone through faith alone (Ephesians 2:8)

• personal holiness in the lives of all baptized believers (Ephesians 4:7)

• that we are all under God’s order of authority as citizens, as families, and as members of the Body of Christ (Hebrews 13:17)

We are looking for people that share this vision and desire to lose their lives in the courts of the Lord and to find a place and people:

• built upon the Word of God (Acts 17:11)

• full of the Holy Spirit of God (Acts 4:31)

• of forgiveness and true fellowship (Acts 4:32)

• that believes in the propagation of the Gospel (Romans 16:25, 26)

• that believes and practices Ministry and Community outreach (Ephesians 4:12)

• where worship is full and free (Acts 2:41-47)

• of repentance, restoration, and holiness (Ephesians 4:24, 31-32)

We believe that our beliefs are to be solely based on the Bible and that our spiritual forefathers did this as is found in the 1689 London Confession of Faith of which we hold to be sound and edifying for study and consideration. We believe that the true church of God has always been in the earth and will remain until the Lord comes again. She is the pillar and ground of the truth and the place of Christ’s glory upon the earth. She should be benevolent and embracing of all who seek to come to Christ regardless of their social standing, economic circumstances, or the color of their skin. She should be militant against the powers of darkness that seek her demise and fight valiantly through proclamation of the gospel, intercessory prayer, and the good works that God has ordained for her to walk in. The church of God is not a building or a set of creeds but it is found to be in the born again hearts of the elect family of God as He calls them out to assemble together for worship, instruction, fellowship, and evangelism. The church of God is blood-bought and Spirit-filled, to be a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, and a peculiar people. (1 Peter 2:9)

We desire to be all that is proclaimed above and to serve the Lord in a way that builds up and strengthens the faith of others through our efforts to glorify God. May God bless us to be faithful to this cause with all of our heart, soul, strength, and mind. We realize that it is only God who can build His church and that any effort that is made on our part will utterly fail unless it is blessed by His mighty hand. We yearn to have an assembly that is free from cold formalism and men’s traditions. We desire to be autonomously ruled by Christ and the Word of God. We desire to be aflame with the spirit of New Testament Christianity in a way that once again will turn the world upside down. (Acts 17:6)

We desire to be identified as Primitive Baptist and we are not ashamed of that heritage. We believe that God does have elect in other denominations and that we should endeavor to love them and not persecute them in any way. (Mark 9:38-41)

WE BELIEVE THAT EVERY MEMBER IS TO BE FAITHFUL IN CHURCH ATTENDANCE, GIVING, AND SUBMISSION TO GOD’S WORD. TO NOT DO SO WILL BRING US UNDER LOVING CHURCH DISCIPLINE AS LAID OUT IN THE NEW TESTAMENT PATTERN (1 CORINTHIANS 5:11-13)

Now may the God of peace who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, make up complete in every good work to do His will...AMEN.
